very suitable for couples. adjacent to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. for dinner, we went to es llenegall, it was extremely close to the venue. the view was lovely here.
The room was really small.
Satisfactory breakfast and an air-conditioned room: that's what we liked. Spacious bed and everything was very clean. The place is 1 km away from Es Castell downtown.
Very pleasant was the unobtrusive, helpful staff. Also both the breakfast and the dinner were good.
Roof terrace, breakfast.
Nothing at all.
The location is genius. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby! . The roof terrace is a dream! Great view, very friendly staff!
Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was rather bad. Staff unfriendly and warm dish already got cold when we arrived at 10 for breakfast!
Beautiful view of the bay.
Loud music from the evening program could be heard in the room. Long check-in process
the rooms are unbelievable!! The beds are great, the linens are superior quality and the rooms in general are beautiful....new, fresh, modern. The showers and towels are also of superior quality. The buffet breakfast in the morning is fantasticf!!! Choice, quality, etc. Hightly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Mahon.
No english maps at front desk....more english t.v. stations.....walking maps. Very difficult to find anything negative about the stay!!
Free wifi Great breakfast Room architecture Excellent view (but ask for a room with a balcony)
Bath tube was not cleaned every day Quite remote location, make sure you have a car Live music in the lobby till midnight
Disappointed did not get balcony But still enjoyed a great stay Room very good Food good In house musicians were excellent All round a very good stay
No dislikes worthy of mention
A well appointed hotel, great views, nice staff. Even the house maids were pleasant! The jacuzzi's on the roof with the cocktail bar was a nice touch accept the jacuzzi's I went in didn't work but it was nice to cool down whilst watching the boats roll in. Smart, clean room with tiny balcony over looking a dusty old car park directly above the delivery doors for the hotel (I may have drawn the short straw on room number 234).
The air conditioning in the room was hopeless, I'm not sure that it worked at all. The shower head was broken and squirted out in all directions. Half the jacuzzi's didn't work. Had dinner at the hotel one evening which was ok, when I ordered a beer to go with dinner it came in a wine glass but the food was alright. We preferred eating out apart from once when we were lured into Nikkis in the harbour by the "best steak in Menorca" sign. We went for the sirloin and it turned out awful (60% fat and masked with shed loads of black pepper (which was all I could taste) not worth the 22 euros each just for the steak alone, the chips and salad were extra. Possibly one to avoid. Back to the hotel, we found that at least 80% of the guests were elderly which we didn't mind, however we did feel that some of the staff preferred the older generation, maybe they tipped better?
Location perfect hotel excellent staff all very helpful and good breakfast. bubbly wine with breakfast was a nice touch.
clean hotel, friendly staff , great quality food , brilliant location for a relaxing break
Beautiful room with extremely comfortable bed, fantastic view, lovely breakfast, great location. The roof top bar is the icing on the cake.
Bar staff were amazing best G&T's in town!
Some reception staff were a little surly & unhelpful.
Very comfortable bed and quilt.Good lighting in the room. Excellent breakfast and choice of food in restaurant. Very good location for walking around Cala Fons and visiting friends in Es Castell. My son and his girlfriend arrived very late in the evening and made breakfast only 5 mins before the finish at 10.30 but there was still a complete choice of food and the staff were excellent and welcoming and made no attempt to hurry them.
The modern shower head and positioning of the movable attachment which made it difficult to wash my hair without getting wet all over. The english TV channels were usually fine in the mornings but nearly always pixilated in the evenings. I preferred the aspect of the Hotel in the years before it's modernisation. The grey blocking frontage obscures the magnificent views.
